The Telecommunication and Fiber Optics program prepares students with the technical and safety skills needed to excel in telecommunications and fiber optics careers.
The curriculum blends theoretical instruction with hands-on training in workplace safety, aerial and underground construction, fiber and coax splicing, and equipment operation. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles and can earn industry-recognized certifications, including the Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT), Fiber Optics Installer (FOI), OSHA 30-hour Safety card, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
