Arlington VA. (August 18, 2026) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.9 Engineering Committee on Industrial Telecommunications Infrastructure has issued a recirculation ballot and call for comments on document TIA-1005-B initially titled ” Telecommunication Infrastructure Standard for Industrial Premises”.
TIA is seeking broad input as per the public review announcement in ANSI’s Standards Action for directly and materially affected parties. In addition, we are actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
