Arlington VA (November 17, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-14 Engineering Committee on Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers & Antenna Supporting Structure has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-222-I-1, initially titled “Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures, Antennas and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures- Addendum 1”.
TR-14 is creating this addendum to address technical clarification and direction of practice in multiple sections within ANSI/TIA-222-I-1.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: Telecom, Telecommunications, Structural Engineering, Antenna, Wireless.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
