Arlington VA (September 9, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-42.7 Engineering Committee on Telecommunications Copper Cabling Systems has issued a call for interest for document TIA-TSB-5073, initially titled “Guidelines for Supporting Extended Distance over 4-pair Balanced Twisted-Pair Cabling”.
Stakeholders are invited to contact TIA regarding participation in the development of this and other TIA standards. The stakeholders may include but are not limited to: Cable and connectivity manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, installers/integrators, end users.
TIA is actively seeking participation in this process from the user and general interest communities.
