Arlington VA. (July 23, 2018) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-45 Engineering Committee on Mobile and Point-to-Point Communications Standards has issued a call for interest for document ANSI/TIA-10 initially titled “Interference Criteria for Microwave Systems”. TR-45 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: “To update the “Interference Criteria for Microwave Systems” document, formerly TIA TSB-10. The former TIA TSB‐10‐F is widely used for fixed point to point microwave frequency coordination. Last published in 2004, the document requires updates to adequately add modern microwave radio networks”. The proposed project will address needed updates and will be broader than interference criteria.
The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Users and Manufacturers of microwave radio.
TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.

A major function of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is the writing and maintenance of voluntary industry standards and specifications. These activities are carried out by the volunteer members of TIA engineering committees. On the public engineering committee pages, users will find recent meeting reports, agendas and notices for upcoming meetings, as well as links to some of the most popular standards from each committee. TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Visit tiaonline.org.
