TIA issues New Wireless Communications Systems- Performance in Noise-and Interference-Limited Situations- Part 1: Recommended Methods for Technology-Independent Narrowband Performance Modeling

Arlington, VA (April 29, 2022) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, the trusted industry association for the connected world, has released a new document, TSB-88.1-F, Wireless Communications Systems- Performance in Noise-and Interference-Limited Situations- Part 1: Recommended Methods for Technology-Independent Narrowband Performance Modeling.

TSB-88.1-F The Wireless Communications Systems Performance in Noise and Interference-Limited Situations Part 1 addresses performance modeling and the parametric values used to accomplish that modeling within the context described in §1.1, limited to frequencies below 1 GHz.

TSB-88.1-F was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-8 Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards, TR-8.18 Wireless Systems Compatibility-Interference and Coverage subcommittee.

For more information about TR-8 and how to participate in standards development with TIA, contact Victoria Mitchell at standards@tiaonline.org.
