Arlington VA (July 29, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-455-133-B, FOTP-133 IEC-60793-1-22 Optical Fibers- Part 1-22: Measurement Methods and Test Procedures- Length Measurement.
ANSI/TIA-455-133-B is part of the IEC 60793 that establishes uniform requirements for measuring the length and elongation of optical fiber (typically within cable).
