Arlington VA (September 22, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-455-157-A, Adoption of IEC 61300-3-2:2009 Fibre Optic Interconnecting Devices and Passive Components – Basic Test and Measurement Procedures – Part 3-2: Examination and Measurements – Polarization Dependent Loss in a Single-mode Fibre Optic Device.
ANSI/TIA-455-157-A is to revise FOTP-157 (PDL Measurements in a single-mode fibre optic device) to adopt IEC 61300-3-2:2009.
