Arlington VA (December 1, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-623.2, IEC 61755-3-2:2024, Fiber Optic Interconnecting Devices and Passive Components-Connector Optical Interfaces- Part 3-2: Connector Parameters of Dispersion Unshifted Single-mode Physically Contacting Fibers- Angled 2,5 mm and 1,25 mm Diameter Cylindrical Full Zirconia Ferrules.
ANSI/TIA-623.2 is an adoption of IEC 61755-3-2:2024, Fiber Optic Interconnecting Devices and Passive Components-Connector Optical Interfaces- Part 3-2: Connector Parameters of Dispersion Unshifted Single-mode Physically Contacting Fibers- Angled 2,5 mm and 1,25 mm Diameter Cylindrical Full Zirconia Ferrules.
