Arlington VA (December 5, 2025) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-4950-C, Requirements for Battery-Powered, Portable Land Mobile Radio Applications in Class I, II, and III, Division 1, Hazardous (Classified) Locations.
TIA-4950-C is a new revision that will incorporate Addendum 4950-B-1.
